2023 TREND REPORT
WHAT WAS IT?
A trend report for the year 2023..
LOOK AND FEEL: Through starting with a 'momentous moment' within current affairs, we analysed current behaviours in response to socio-political events to predict trends in upcoming years. In terms of design, I solely designed the report based off a soft comforting tone of voice that remained a safe place for our consumer. Using warm colour to signify progression and support ideas surrounding a safe haven.
THE IDEA: ‘Euphoric retreatment’ highlights an intense feeling of happiness through seclusion and privacy. With the world being isolated from social settings, ta desire to ‘escape’ has formed in attempt to support their post-covid behaviours.
MY ROLE: Throughout this brief I heavily engaged with research ensuring we had enough resources in order to gain and analyse current consumer behaviours. By using secondary and primary research we were able to collect insights validating and supporting our future predictions of 2023. With further support, I collected, categorised and analysed a large number of images from various resources in order to visually support our ideas, making them appear more authentic.
